They debuted this trailer at Comic Con and sure it’s a’ight, but do we really need more gory stories with paper thin plotlines? According to MGM that is a resounding yes, but I am sorry to let MGM know they are about three years late to the dying genre as they bring their med students turned killers trailer for Pathology online.
The plotline for this little terror? Well, when med school student Ted Gray (“Heroes” star Milo Ventimiglia) graduates top of his class he joins one of the nation’s most prestigious Pathology programs. Ted is quickly noticed by the program’s privileged and elite band of pathology interns who invite him into their crowd. Intrigued by his new friends he begins to uncover secrets he never expected and finds that he has unknowingly become a pawn in their dangerous and secret after-hours game at the morgue of who can commit the perfect undetectable murder. As Ted becomes seduced into their wild extracurricular activities the danger becomes real and he must stay one step ahead of the game before he is the next victim.
I love the part of that synopsis that says “the danger becomes real,” such frightening words. That one is right up there with “forget everything you know” and “in a world [fill in the blank]”.
Pathology hits theaters on November 30th, but the trailer hits now… seriously… just below…
