The first official Desperation Road trailer is out, previewing a new Southern noir thriller starring Oscar winner Mel Gibson and Garrett Hedlund.
Who is in Desperation Road?
Desperation Road is directed by Nadine Crocker from a script written by Michael Farris Smith. The film is also based on the novel of the same name by Smith. Alongside Gibson and Hedlund, Desperation Road also stars Willa Fitzgerald, Ryan Hurst, Woody McClain, Katy Bodenhamer, Kat Foster, Ella Thomas, Pyper Braun, Michael Milligan, and Shiloh Fernandez.

Desperation Road is slated to premiere on October 6, 2023, and will be available in select theaters, on demand, and on digital storefronts.
