A new Heart of Stone trailer was released at Netflix‘s Tudum event, previewing the Gal Gadot action movie. The movie is set to release on Netflix on August 11, 2023.

The trailer shows Gal Gadot‘s Rachel Stone operating as an intelligence agent in different parts of the world until a powerful item known as “The Heart” is stolen, leading to a massive international crisis.

The original story was penned by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder, with Tom Harper attached to direct. Eisner Award winner Rucka has collaborated with Netflix to adapt his graphic novel series The Old Guard. After the warm reception of the film starring Charlize Theron, Netflix greenlit a sequel.
Heart of Stone hails from Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger, with Granger and Goldberg overseeing the project on behalf of the studio. Besides Gadot, the list of producers includes Jaron Varsano, Bonnie Curtis, and Julie Lynn through their Pilot Wave banner, with Harper, Rucka, and Patty Whitcher serving as executive producers.
