A brand new Eternals clip and featurette for Marvel Studios’ highly-anticipated MCU film have arrived online, featuring lots of new action-packed footage which also highlights the family dynamic between the immortal heroes. Earlier this week, the film had its world premiere in Los Angeles and is currently slated to make its debut on November 5 for a 45-day exclusive theatrical run.
The clip offers us an extended look at Sprite and Sersi’s present-day encounter with one of the deviants. Joining them in the scene are Golden Globe winner Richard Madden’s Ikaris, and Emmy nominee Kit Harington’s Dane Whitman, giving us our first glimpse into the Game of Thrones alums’ onscreen reunion. As for the new featurette, it provides us with a more detailed introduction at each of the ten Eternals including their powers and relationship with each other.

Based on Jack Kirby’s Marvel comics of the same name, Eternals welcomes an exciting new team of superheroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The epic story, spanning thousands of years, features a group of immortal heroes forced out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s oldest enemy, The Deviants.
The film features a star-studded ensemble including Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena, and Kit Harington as Dane Whitman.

Eternals is directed by Chloé Zhao from a screenplay co-written by Matthew K. Firpo and Ryan Firpo. It is being produced by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Nate Moore.
Zhao is coming off from winning numerous awards including Best Picture and Best Director at the recent Golden Globe and Oscar awards for her acclaimed work on 2020’s Nomadland.
