The King’s Man Red Band Trailer Revealed for Long-Delayed Prequel

20th Century Studios has dropped a brand new red band trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s long-delayed action prequel The King’s Man, starring Ralph Fiennes, and Gemma Arterton. The film has been delayed several times now, with its first initial date previously due two years ago. Currently, it is slated to finally arrive in theaters on December 22, 2021.

The King’s Man red band trailer, which you can check out below along with the new poster, features new footage that continues to highlight its action-packed sequences as well as Rhys Ifans’ portrayal of Grigori Rasputin.

The King’s Man is the third installment to Matthew Vaughn’s blockbuster spy film series Kingsman, based on Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons’ comic book titled “The Secret Service.” It stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.

The official synopsis reads: “A collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds as they gather to plot a war to wipe out millions. Now, one man must race against time to stop them. Along the way, viewers can discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man.”

The prequel is once again directed by Matthew Vaughn from a screenplay he co-wrote with Karl Gajdusek. It is produced by Vaughn, David Reid, and Adam Bohling.
