The King’s Man: Prequel Sets Hulu Streaming Release Date

Nearly a month since its theatrical release of The King’s Man, 20th Century Studios has announced that the prequel to Matthew Vaughn’s popular Kingsman films will officially be available for U.S. streaming on February 18 on Hulu. In addition, the studio has also set release dates for the star-studded film’s international streaming debut on Disney+ under the Star banner.

  • February 9:  UK & Ireland, Japan, Korea
  • February 23: Germany, Switzerland, Aust ria, Italy, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Luxembourg
  • March 2:  Latin America (Star+)

“A collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds as they gather to plot a war to wipe out millions,” reads the synopsis. “Now, one man must race against time to stop them. Along the way, viewers can discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man.”

The King’s Man is the third installment to Matthew Vaughn’s blockbuster spy film series Kingsman, based on Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons’ comic book titled The Secret Service. It stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.

The prequel is once again directed by Matthew Vaughn from a screenplay he co-wrote with Karl Gajdusek. It is produced by Vaughn, David Reid, and Adam Bohling.
