Porky Pig Shows Off His Rap Skills in New Space Jam: A New Legacy Clip

Cartoon Network has dropped a brand new sneak peek for Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming Space Jam: A New Legacy, which is scheduled to make its debut on July 16, in theaters and on HBO Max. The sports comedy sequel centers around LeBron James taking over the mantle of becoming the new captain of the Tune Squad from NBA legend Michael Jordan, who was the previous lead in the 1996 film. The new Space Jam: A New Legacy clip, which you can check out below, features a rap battle between Don Cheadle’s AI-G and the Tune Squad, with Porky Pig introducing a whole new different side of him as he gets to show off his Notorious P.I.G’s rap skills.

The Space Jam sequel stars LeBron James, Sonequa Martin-Green, Cedric Joe, Don Cheadle, Ceyair J. Wright, Harper Leigh Alexander, and Zendaya along with Candi Milo, Jim Cummings, Bob Bergen, Gabriel Iglesias, Jeff Bergman, and Eric Bauza. It also features NBA and WNBA stars, Portland Trailblazers’ Damian Lillard, New Orleans Pelicans’ Anthony Davis, Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, Los Angeles Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma, Phoenix Suns’ Chris Paul, Phoenix Mercury’s Diana Taurasi, and Los Angeles Sparks’ siblings Chiney and Nneka Ogwumike.

When LeBron and his young son Dom are trapped in a digital space by a rogue A.I., LeBron must get them home safe by leading Bugs, Lola Bunny, and the whole gang of notoriously undisciplined Looney Tunes to victory over the A.I.’s digitized champions on the court: a powered-up roster of professional basketball stars as you’ve never seen them before. It’s Tunes versus Goons in the highest-stakes challenge of his life, that will redefine LeBron’s bond with his son and shine a light on the power of being yourself.
