It's Tunes versus Goons in New Space Jam: A New Legacy Trailer

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a brand new Space Jam: A New Legacy trailer for the highly-anticipated comedy sequel to 1996’s Michael Jordan-led Space Jam, which will now be led by NBA superstar LeBron James as he portrays a fictionalized version of himself. The video features new action-packed footage as James and the Tune Squad prepare for the highest stakes game of their lives. It also continues to hype up the Tune Squad’s court battle against the Goons, who are comprised of all-star players from the NBA and WNBA.

The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters and on HBO Max on Friday, July 16. Its current theatrical release date pits the sequel against Sony Pictures’ Escape Room: Tournament of Champions.
