The Truth Has Many Faces in Neon’s Luce TV Spot

An all-star high school athlete and accomplished debater, Luce is a poster boy for the new American Dream. As are his parents, who adopted him from a war-torn country a decade earlier. When Luce’s teacher makes a shocking discovery in his locker, Luce’s stellar reputation is called into question. But is he really at fault, or is Ms. Wilson preying on dangerous stereotypes?

The film also stars Kelvin Harrison Jr. (It Comes at Night) as the titular character, Academy Award-nominated actor Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs, Rob Roy) as Peter Edgar, Brian Bradley/Astro (See You Yesterday) as DeShaun Meeks, Andrea Bang (Kim’s Convenience) as Stephanie Kim, and Norbert Leo Butz (Higher Ground) as Dan Towson.

The film had its world premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. It will debut in theaters on August 2.
