Twentieth Century Fox has plans to adapt Top Cow’s “Pilot Season” comic Theory of Everything into a feature film, Deadline reports. Written by Dan Casey with art by Thomas Nacklick, Theory of Everything is officially described as follows:
Charles Witten is a brilliant scientist capable of inventing devices that will change our world. Unfortunately, most of the scientific community thinks he’s a crackpot. As does the government, until? a precision team of heist men rob a bank in Switzerland using what appears to be Witten’s dimension hopping technology. Technology that Witten designed, but never completed?
Top Cow’s “Pilot Season” is an annual event that sees the release of various one-shot comics and allows readers to vote on the property that they want to see continue as an ongoing series. Although Theory of Everything lost out to The Beauty during the 2011 voting, development of a feature film could easily bring Casey and Nacklick’s world back to print as well.
