With IMAX quickly becoming the preeminent way for moviegoers to see the year’s biggest event movies, it was announced today by the IMAX Corporation that Bruce Willis’ return as John McClane in A Good Day to Die Hard will be arriving one week earlier on February 7 in IMAX theaters internationally, followed by its domestic release including IMAX theaters a week later on February 14. At the same time, Entertainment Weekly has premiered a new poster for the movie featuring Willis as John McLane and Jai Courtney as his son Jack and a new featurette on Courtney is online as well.
Co-starring Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, Yulia Snigir and more, A Good Day to Die Hard is the fifth installment of the action-thriller that made Willis a star with the first movie Die Hard back in 1988 and it’s the follow-up to 2007’s Live Free or Die Hard.

About A Good Day to Die Hard
John McClane goes global. For the first time, the New York City cop, played by Bruce Willis, finds himself on an international stage ? as a fish out of water in Moscow. The film introduces McClane?s estranged son Jack, an apple who hasn?t fallen far from the tree, and who may even be more of a hard-ass than his father. John and Jack must put aside their personal and professional differences, and work together to keep each other alive ? and stop the Moscow underworld from controlling nuclear weapons.
