New Line Plans on Going in Style

New Line Cinema has plans to remake the 1978 caper comedy Going In Style, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter.

Directed by Martin Brest, the original film starred George Burns, Art Carney and Lee Strasberg as a trio of senior citizens who decide to rob a bank and take their winnings to Las Vegas.

The script for the new version arrives from screenwriter Ted Melfi, the writer/director behind the upcoming St. Vincent de Van Nuys, set up at 20th Century Fox with Bill Murray in the lead.
