Confirmed to be on its way earlier this week, Paramount Pictures’ Paranormal Activity 4 now has an official release day: October 19, 2012.
The third entry in the “found footage” franchise grossed over $203 million worldwide with a production budget of just $5 million. Directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, Paranormal Activity 3 took audiences back to the 1980’s and the origins of the supernatural entity at the center of the franchise.
There are currently no details as to what the fourth Paranormal Activity film will focus on or who among the franchise’s cast and crew might be returning. Expect that to change in the very near future, however, and check back for updates as they become available.
