Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton are planning to bring their recently-released novel, Black Light to the big screen. What’s more, the pair are collaborating on a rewrite of the Guillermo del Toro project, Pacific Rim, originally scripted by Travis Beacham.
Written alongside Stephen Romano, Black Light is officially described as follows:

Dunstan and Melton are best known for their work in the Saw franchise. They’ll be working with producer Michael De Luca to bring Black Light to the big screen.
Pacific Rim, meanwhile, is scheduled for release on May 10, 2013.
