Kyle Chandler Joins Jason Bateman in Game Night For New Line

Kyle Chandler will join Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams in Game Night for New Line

Bloodline star Kyle Chandler is set to join New Line Cinema‘s upcoming comedy Game Night, according to Deadline. He’ll be joining Jason Bateman (Horrible BossesArrested Development), Rachel McAdams (Midnight In ParisTrue Detective), Jesse Plemons (Black MassBridge of Spies), Kylie Bunbury (The SitterTwisted), Lamorne Morris (New GirlBarbershop: The Next Cut), and Billy Magnussen (Bridge of SpiesInto the Woods) in the film. Game Night centers around a group of couples who have one of their regularly scheduled game nights, but things go very wrong. In fact, it “turns into a real murder mystery.”

Game Night is expected to begin filming this spring. The film will be directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, and will be produced by Bateman and James Garavente for Aggregate Films. John Davis and John Fox will produce for Davis Entertainment.

Chandler won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2011 for his work on the popular TV series Friday Night Lights. Right after he films Game Night, Chandler will begin production on the Warner Bros./Legendary film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. He recently finished filming season 3 of the Netflix series Bloodline, for which he received his fourth and fifth Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Chadler also starred in the Oscar-winning film Manchester by the Sea. He’s also been seen in King KongSuper 8 and The Day the Earth Stood Still.
