ShockTillYouDrop.com reports that the new Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Day the Earth Stood Still) upcoming “found footage” film, hitherto untitled, has received a moniker.
The site has been told it is called Sinister. Apropos considering the thriller is coming from Insidious producer Jason Blum.
Ethan Hawke is set to star as a journalist who moves into a house where a family was murdered. There, he discovers footage that reveals what happen before the tragedy occurred. Summit Entertainment will release the film.
