Warner Bros. has purchased a supernatural spec script from “Supernatural” creator Eric Kripke, Variety reports. Entitled Haunted, the film will also be directed by Kripke.
Details on the project are few, but the story is said to deal with a haunted house with the spirits themselves featured as the protagonists.
Though he’s been responsible for helming numerous episodes of “Supernatural” over the course of the series’ six (soon to be seven) year run, Kripke’s primary experience on the big screen has been as a writer. He supplied the screenplay for Ghost House’s 2005 film Boogeyman.
