As reported by Blackfilm.com and confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, Tyler Perry’s next film will be the romantic drama Good Deeds for Lionsgate. Perry wrote the script and will direct the film.
He’ll play successful entrepreneur Glen Deeds, who is about to get married when he suddenly finds himself more interested in a down-on-her-luck single mother than his uptown fiancee.
Filming is set to begin at the end of April in Atlanta.
Perry’s new film Madea’s Big Happy Family will be released by Lionsgate on April 22. Perry is also attached to star in I, Alex Cross, based on the James Patterson novel.
