Variety is reporting that Ryan Reynolds (upcoming Green Lantern) is in final talks to voice DreamWorks Animation’s Turbo.
Turbo, to be directed by David Soren from a script he wrote with Darren Lemke, tells the story of an ordinary garden snail with an impossible dream: to become the fastest snail in the world. When a freak accident gives him extraordinary speed, Turbo sets out to try to make this dream come true.
Lisa Stewart (Monsters vs. Aliens) is producing the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on June 7, 2013.
