Jeff Smith’s comic book series RASL has been set for development under producer Lionel Wigram, Variety reports.
Smith, best known for his popular fantasy series “Bone,” launched RASL in 2008, telling the story of an interdimensional art thief (named RASL) who robs paintings from parallel universes. The series is still running, though Smith has suggested that it will reach a conclusion within a year or two.
Wigram, who tends to work with Warner Bros. (the studio that also holds the rights to “Bone”), is best known for his work on the first three Harry Potter films and his role as producer on 2009’s Sherlock Holmes and the upcoming sequel, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.
