Five-Year Engagement Adds Two

Chris Pratt has signed on for the Nick Stoller comedy Five-Year Engagement and Rhys Ifans is in talks, Variety is reporting.

The casting comes on the heels of yesterday’s news that has Alison Brie also joining the production, alongside Jason Segel and Emily Blunt.

Judd Apatow is producing the film for Universal with a script from both Stoller and Segel, described as a bawdy, couples comedy, and charts the five-year engagement of a man (Segel) and his fiancee, following the ups and downs of their relationship.

Pratt, best known for his role on “Parks and Recreation,” also appears in this week’s Take Me Home Tonight. Ifans is best known for Notting Hill and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. He will also be playing the villain in The Amazing Spider-Man.
