Vincent Curatola, best known for his “The Sopranos” role as mob boss Johnny ‘Sack’ Sacramoni, has been cast in the upcoming mob heist film, Cogan’s Trade, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The film is headlined by Brad Pitt in the role of Jackie Cogan, a hit man’s point person who becomes involved in the investigation of a heist against the mob that takes place during a high-stakes poker game. Curatola’s character is said to be a man just released from prison intent on gaining revenge against those responsible for putting him away.
Based on the novel by George V. Higgins, the film arrives from The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford director Andrew Dominik and is also set to star Curatola’s former co-star, James Gandolfini along with Richard Jenkins, Bella Heathcote and Sam Rockwell.
