TRON: Legacy star Olivia Wilde is joining Chris Pine and Elizabeth Banks in DreamWorks’ Welcome to People, which will mark Alex Kurtzman’s directorial debut.
According to Risky Business, the family drama is about a businessman (Pine) who returns home after his estranged father’s death and discovers that he has an alcoholic sister (Banks) with a 12-year-old son.
Wilde will play Hannah, the girlfriend of the businessman.
Kurtzman wrote the screenplay with Roberto Orci and Jody Lambert.
Wilde stars in the upcoming Cowboys & Aliens, which was co-written by Kurtzman and Orci. She will also appear in The Change-Up and Now.
Filming is scheduled to star this month in Los Angeles.
