Scott Kosar has been brought on to work on the screenplay for Summit Entertainment’s Vlad, reports Variety.
The action film centers on Dracula as a young prince; he is known as Vlad the Impaler, the man behind the Dracula myth.
Charlie Hunnam (“Sons of Anarchy”) wrote the original script. Anthony Mandler will direct for Plan B producers Brad Pitt and Dede Gardner.
Kosar’s writing credits include 2003’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Machinist, 2005’s The Amityville Horror and the upcoming horror remake The Crazies.
