I know the geek collective was on pins and needles when it came to Chris Pine and the question of would he sign on as Steve Trevor, love interest to Gal Gadot‘s title character in Wonder Woman, or would he be one of two Green Lanterns featured in DC’s Green Lantern Corps. Well, as it turns out, he’s definitely taking the Trevor role and The Wrap reports the Lantern rumors were “unfounded”.
Wonder Woman will be directed by Patty Jenkins and is slated for a Jun 23, 2017 release date. We’ll most likely know a little more about what to expect from the film once Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives, giving us our first look at the Amazonian warrior princess.
