President Snow Crumbles in New ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ Poster

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 hits theaters on Nov. 20 and will surely be one of the biggest films of the year, though with Furious 7 already topping $1.5 billion and Avengers: Age of Ultron over $1.3 billion, the Hunger Games finale would have to more than double the $752 million worldwide haul of Part 1 if it wants to compete for the overall crown.

That said, I’m expecting a lot from this finale as I thought the final half of “Mockingjay” was the best Suzanne Collins‘ series delivered, filled with blood and one death in particular I definitely wasn’t expecting. For those that haven’t read the books, it should be quite fun to hear and read about the reactions.

Today a new poster for Part 2 has arrived, this one vandalizing the statue of Panem’s President Snow (Donald Sutherland) as the resistance is on the rise. Check it out below.

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced before.

Directed by Francis Lawrence

Starring: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Julianne Moore, Natalie Dormer, Lily Rabe, Robert Knepper and Gwendoline Christie
