I read these reports about how Alex Gibney‘s Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief (read my review here) was the most watched documentary on HBO, attracting nearly 1.7 million viewers the first night it played, and yet, I don’t see all that many people talking about it or disgusted with what it portrays. Maybe that’s because I haven’t dedicated my life to searching for the answers, but I guess I would simply hope there would be a little more conversation followed by a little action… All this aggravation ain’t satisfactionin’ me
Anywho, over the weekend “Saturday Night Live” took their own little jab at the Church of Scientology, spoofing the Church’s “We Stand Tall” music video, with a Church of Neurotology video. Then, this morning, Funny or Die took their own shot at the Church with a “Scientology-Approved Version of Going Clear“. Watch them both below along with the Church’s own video.
