So, apparently this “Saturday Night Live” sketch in which Dakota Johnson plays a teenage girl whose decided to join ISIS is getting heat online from people that don’t realize this is something that’s actually happening.
I have to assume people taking offense comes from not understanding the “joke”. The joke isn’t necessarily the sketch, it’s the absurdity of American and other teens across the world (just click the links above) joining ISIS. If you find the sketch actually offensive I would love to hear why in the comments below. And please, don’t say “Because ISIS isn’t funny,” because that just shows you didn’t even get the point of the sketch.
