What I Watched, What You Watched #277

I hope all of you had a happy holidays. I know I enjoyed taking a few days off and not actually doing anything work related. It’s the first time in a long time I can remember taking so many days off in a row, but it’s time to get things moving again. While I haven’t actually written a new post myself since December 24, I didn’t stop watching movies as time with the family means rewatching a few movies, but as is often the case, it’s hard to find something for the whole family to watch that’s a) good and b) entertaining an a general audience sense.

So the first choice was easy, The Grand Budapest Hotel and the second choice was pretty easy as well when we watched The Imitation Game, but when my brother-in-law popped in Fury it became a house divided. A couple of the in-laws weren’t too impressed, one even left the room, but my wife and brother-in-law seemed to enjoy it and others seemed to like pieces of it.

Then, on Christmas Eve we watched It’s a Wonderful Life on network television. Trust me, I regretted not bringing the Blu-ray after the second commercial block. A lesson learned.

Other than that, I thought it was interesting after reading The Interview and then hearing from some family friends that sat around and watched it together. Jordan seemed to like it, they definitely hated it and hate may be too kind. I don’t really have any interest in watching it, but I have to ask if any of you watched it and what you thought. Share below along with whatever else you watched this past week.
