Miles Teller returns as Peter in Insurgent, the sequel to the 2014 hit Divergent, which will be hitting theaters on March 20, 2015, and according to Wikipedia he’ll also play the character in Allegiant: Part 1 and 2 at least, as long as the filmmakers don’t mind playing the character in the first film made Teller feel “dead inside”.
This is how Teller described shooting Divergent to W Magazine saying, “When I first read Whiplash, I was feeling dead inside.” At the time he read the script he was shooting Divergent and adds, “I didn’t have an interesting part, and I’d taken the film for business reasons: It was the first movie I’d done that was going to have an international audience. I called my agent and said, ‘This sucks.'”
Well, Miles, I understand your frustration, great.
UPDATE: Miles Teller took to Twitter to, apparently, change his position saying, “I’ve never done a movie for ‘business’ reasons. I’m proud to be a part of Divergent franchise and love all of Peter’s Princesses.” But, but, but… Miles… you said you did. Oh well…
