I know I’m repeating myself, almost word for word in the headline after premiering the first poster for The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, but the new picture that just premiered from the movie (see above) is freakily realistic.
The pic premiered following the film’s preview at the San Diego Comic Con yesterday where Slashfilm reports the following information on the film’s plot:
Apparently Spongebob and friends escape the pineapple under the sea and their animated sea city of Bikini Bottom and enter the human world. The movie starts in the usual animated world but the characters “transform to computer graphic superheroes to fight off a menace endangering beloved Bikini Bottom.”
I have no intention of seeing this movie, but for those of you that do, you’ll be able to see it in theaters on February 13, 2015.
