These LG appliance commercials are sort of amazing in how they’ve hired Leslie Mann to provide the voice over narration, but have hired a look-a-like for the actual commercial. Just watch the dishwasher one as they originally shoot from a distance then bring it in really close, but the woman holds the plate over half her face forever.
Then, in the refrigerator one…

…they get a little more bold, focusing in on the woman with the blurry son in the foreground and for a split second you ask yourself, “Is that Leslie Mann? Because it’s certainly her voice,” but the shot cuts before you can be sure. Then, back to the close-up of the eyes and the back of her head.
I know, random, but every time I see these commercials I get a laugh at the lengths they’ve gone to try and “trick” the viewer. I do, however, wonder, how much does Leslie Mann charge for the use of her voice and how much does she charge to actually get her in the commercial?
