I’m not sure how prevalent it is in his early films, but I got to thinking of a drinking game having to do with Michael Bay‘s movies…

Obviously you would set up rules where you have to take a sip of whatever you’re drinking any time there’s an explosion, drink half a beer any time a woman is treated solely as an object rather than a human being, a sip during a slow motion shot and so forth.
However, if you can manage to get a friend of yours over to watch one of Michael Bay’s Transformers films (I know the first one and Age of Extinction definitely work in this case) and Pain & Gain should as well, and set up a rule where only they need to drink whenever the American flag is shown or image of the American flag, believe me, you’re going to have a fun night watching them look on in confusion as Bay just can’t help himself.
After all, there about twelve sightings of the flag in the Age of Extinction teaser trailer alone.

With this latest film it should work out nicely as well since the final hour or so is in China and I don’t believe there’s a single American flag visible, though I could be wrong.
