As I wrote in my same journal entry already gave you a heads up on what I thought of those two movies.
Also this week I watched Criterion’s L’eclisse Blu-ray, which I will also be reviewing next week and I started watching Goyokin last night, but I only watched 30 minutes once I realized I wasn’t going to be able to finish it and just went to bed rather than attempt the impossible.
Coming up we have the “Game of Thrones” finale tonight, which I’m sure I’ll be compelled to write about and I also can’t wait to watch the last two episodes of season three of “Sherlock” here shortly. I’m also still trying to get my wife to see Edge of Tomorrow since I want to see it again. Oh, and the Blu-ray for The Grand Budapest Hotel just arrived and I’m going to try and get two “Best Movies” entries written in the coming two weeks. So, yeah, there’s a lot to come, but for now, what did you watch this week?
One final note, if you haven’t yet subscribed for a paid subscription on the site, I have to say, viewing this site without advertising is a night and day experience. This past week I tested it out for a full week (since I pretty much have to view the site with ads to make sure things are running smoothly) and I couldn’t believe how much faster pages loaded. Obviously I’m going to be in favor of such a thing, but with the new Journal feature and the freedom it offers me to write about pretty much anything and the speed improvement, if you’re at all interested, give it a shot, I think it’s well worth the price… that is if you’re a regular visitor and reader of this site.
