Warner Bros. is Going ‘Godzilla’ with ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ Marketing

I can’t turn on the television without seeing a TV spot for Edge of Tomorrow as Warner Bros. is blanketing the airwaves with marketing for the new Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt actioner. I do my best to avoid trailers, but it has been impossible with this film to the point I’ve had the “Live. Die. Repeat.” tagline burned into my memory. Good on yah Warner Bros., I just hope the early reviews are right and this movie is as good as they are saying and not just a case of early reviewers having seen the film before the marketing barrage began.

Today WB released yet another, what they consider a “final” trailer for the film described as the “Judgment Day” trailer. Judgment day for this one begins on Friday, June 6. Will the marketing onslaught for this one produce big box office totals in the same way it did for Godzilla?

Watch the trailer below and for more on the film, including several pictures, click here.

Lt. Col. Bill Cage (Cruise) is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously demoted and then dropped into combat. Cage is killed within minutes, managing to take an alpha alien down with him. But he awakens back at the beginning of the same day and is forced to fight and die again… and again – as physical contact with the alien has thrown him into a time loop.
