Lionsgate has premiered the first pictures from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 featuring looks at Julianne Moore as President Alma Coin, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, Jeffrey Wright as Beetee, Woody Harrelson as Haymitch and a shot of director Francis Lawrence on set. Along with that there is an interview with Moore, all of which I’ve included in this post.
Mockingjay – Part 1 is set for a November 21 release and features Jennifer Lawrence, back as Katniss, as she has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she’s made it out of the bloody arena alive, she’s still not safe. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge. Who do they think should pay for the unrest? Katniss. And what’s worse, President Snow has made it clear that no one else is safe either. Not Katniss’s family, not her friends, not the people of District 12.
