‘X-Men’ After ‘Spider-Man’ and Behind the Scenes of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’

So apparently it’s a big deal that Fox will preview a clip from X-Men: Days of Future Past midway through the credits of Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

It’s nothing more than a clip from the film, which, according to Empire, features “Jennifer Lawrence‘s Mystique, Lucas Till‘s Havok and Evan Jonigkeit‘s Toad taking on William Stryker (Josh Helman) and his military men.”

The clip doesn’t imply a crossover, but what it does imply is Sony and Fox are utilizing the reason trailers are called trailers (because they used to come after the movie) and trying to help each other out in battling the Marvel Studios machine with two of the most lucrative Marvel properties whose rights exist outside of Marvel’s grasp.

In other Marvel news, the following behind the scenes featurette for Guardians of the Galaxy played during last night’s episode of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” on ABC. From what I understand it doesn’t feature a lot of new footage, but does feature a lot of talking heads telling you how amazing it will be. Good thing eh? Just imagine if Bradley Cooper was featured in this video saying, “Psh! A talking raccoon? This movie is going to suck!”
