New Pictures from ‘The Counselor’ Featuring Cameron Diaz in Thomas Wylde Threads

In a double attempt to get the female audience interested in Ridley Scott‘s The Counselor and to find an opportunity to discuss the film’s costuming by Oscar-winning costume designer Janty Yates (Gladiator), WWD (via The Playlist) has a selection of pictures from the film featuring Cameron Diaz accompanied by an interview with Paula Thomas, creative director of Los Angeles-based brand Thomas Wylde, who supplied the outfits for Diaz’s character.

Diaz plays Malkina who’s married to Reiner (Javier Bardem), a drug lord, and in discussing his decision to go with Thomas’ clothing Scott said, “You make fashion for a woman who wants to be seen.”

Written by Cormac McCarthy and set for release on October 25, The Counselor centers on a present-day Southwest lawyer (Michael Fassbender) who thinks he can dip a toe into the drug business without getting sucked down. A bad decision. He tries his best to survive it and get out of a desperate situation, but can he?

I’ve included three more pictures directly below and you can get much more on the film right here.
