We haven’t yet seen any kind of impressive posters for The Counselor. We have those character posters, but let’s be honest, those are merely the studio’s attempt to get movie bloggers to post something about their film… Well, it worked, and now it’s working again as a new Swedish poster has arrived. Granted, it’s not a very good poster, but it’s a poster nonetheless.
Directed by Ridley Scott, written by Cormac McCarthy and starring Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, Cameron Diaz, Brad Pitt and Penelope Cruz the film hits theaters on October 25 and right now I have to wonder if it will be one of the secret screenings at the upcoming New York Film Festival or will Fox hold it close to the chest until release?
The Counselor centers on a present-day Southwest lawyer (Fassbender) who thinks he can dip a toe into the drug business without getting sucked down. A bad decision. He tries his best to survive it and get out of a desperate situation, but can he?
