Now that Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor has signed on to direct Terminator 5 I guess there’s no time better than now to publish this new poster from Thor 2 featuring the film’s villain, Malekith, played by Christopher Eccleston.
Apparently Malekith and a bunch of his minions want to destroy the universe or something or, as the plot says, “plunge the universe back into darkness”. I’m not sure what he would gain by said plunging, but the synopsis also promises Thor (Chris Hemsworth) will have “to sacrifice everything to save us all”. I have to assume “everything” in this case is a bit of an exaggeration, but we’ll know soon enough as the film hits theaters on November 8.
