‘Hunger Games: Catching Fire’, ‘Counselor’, ‘Captain Phillips’ and More in Today’s MPAA Ratings Bulletin

Today’s batch of ratings is another extensive one with one title a lot of fanboys and girls will be interested in, a PG-13 for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire with a very lengthy reason.
Additionally we have a rather hard PG-13 for Captain Phillips, not to mention the designation of “graphic” and “grisly” images in Ridley Scott‘s R-rated The Counselor starring Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz.
And speaking of graphic reasoning, just check out the hard R for Eli Roth‘s new movie The Green Inferno, which will be premiering in Toronto. I have it added to a new schedule, but still not sure I feel the need to fit it in.
On a lighter note, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 received a soft PG rating and then there’s something called Edgar Wright Introduction To The World’s End, which received a G, not sure what that is.
