What will be the best blockbuster of the summer? Have we already seen it — Iron Man 3, Star Trek Into Darkness, Fast & Furious 6. I hope not. Is it just around the corner… Man of Steel. Hmmmmm… Or is it in the near future — World War Z, White House Down, The Lone Ranger, Pacific Rim, R.I.P.D., The Wolverine or Elysium?
The closest of that batch is the Brad Pitt-led World War Z (June 21) based on the Max Brooks novel and centering on a world ravaged by zombies and what happens next and today I have 28 new pictures from said “ravaging” to show you.
The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Mireille Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane and Andre Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.
