New Posters: ‘Escape Plan’, ‘Only God Forgives’, ‘Machete Kills’, ‘Grandmaster’ and More

Written by Miles Chapman for the screen, with a rewrite by Jason Keller, Escape Plan (10/18) follows Ray Breslin (Stallone) who is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. He’s analyzed every high security prison and has gained a vast array of survival skills. But all Ray’s ingenuity and knowledge are about to be put to work in the most challenging test he’s ever faced: escaping from the master prison of his own design.

Schwarzenegger, in the role of Church, plays a complex inmate with multiple shades of grey. He’s the guy who fights to keep the prisoners from losing their humanity in their darkest hour as they struggle together to stay alive.

An epic martial arts drama set against the tumultuous backdrop of 1930’s China and inspired by the life and times of the legendary IP Man (Tony Leung), mentor to Bruce LEE. The story focuses on two kung fu masters, IP Man, and Gong Er, and as their worlds collides on the night of the Japanese invasion in 1936. The plot encompasses themes of war, family, revenge, desire, love, and memory. The all-star cast headed by Tony Leung Chiu Wa, also includes Ziyi Zhang, CHANG Chen, XIAO Shengyang and SONG Hye Kyo, as well as hundreds of Asia’s top martial artists.

Machete Kills (9/13) finds Machete recruited by the U.S. Government for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man. Machete must battle his way through Mexico to take down a madman cartel leader and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war across the planet with a weapon in space. Machete takes on an army in an effort to dismantle a plan for global anarchy.

Ryan Gosling and the director of Drive, Nicolas Winding Refn, are back with this visionary Bangkok-set thriller. Julien (Gosling) is a drug kingpin tasked with avenging his brother’s death, but a mysterious, unhinged policeman is following his every move.
