On top of the reveal of the new poster for the 66th Cannes Film Festival this morning featuring a lip-locked Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, now there is an animated version of the poster to accompany it.
Prior to every Festival screening a brief intro video promoting the fest plays and the last three years it has been the same video featuring a series of red carpeted steps to the tune of “Carnival of the Animals: VII. Aquarium”. Seeing this new video makes me wonder if the Festival organizers will use it instead in front of this year’s films.
