Focus Features and parent company Universal Pictures are the first to open the For Your Consideration doors with downloadable versions of the screenplays they will be pushing for Oscar and awards consideration this season.
Focus brings screenplays for Wes Anderson‘s Moonrise Kingdom and the animated feature ParaNorman while still holding off with titles not yet in theaters such as Anna Karenina, Hyde Park on Hudson and Promised Land.
Universal brings screenplays for Seth Macfarlane‘s Ted, Snow White and the Hunstman and The Lorax while also offering the screenplay for Judd Apatow‘s This is 40 even though it won’t hit theaters until December 21.
