Cloud Atlas is only two weeks away and today Warner Bros. unleashed a massive batch of photos from the film, 75 new ones to be exact, along with a new featurette taking a look at what writer/director partnership of Andy and Lana Wachowski and Tom Tykwer were able to put together as they set out to adapt David Mitchell’s novel exploring how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future.
Featuring a massive cast that includes the likes of Tom Hanks, Ben Whishaw, Hugo Weaving, Susan Sarandon, Jim Broadbent, Jim Sturgess, Hugh Grant, James D’Arcy, Halle Berry and Keith David, the film is set to hit theaters on October 26 and I’ve already reviewed it out of the Toronto Film Festival where I said that “while the filmmaking ambition largely outweighs the narrative, Cloud Atlas is an achievement worth experiencing in theaters.” You can read that full interview here, but first a few goodies.
