No, you can’t see anyone’s faces in the above photo, but you can click here for the full-size version of the photo as Paramount Pictures celebrated its 100 year anniversary by assembly what Vanity Fair describes as “116 of the greatest talents ever to work at the studio.” Who does that include?
Well, let’s begin with the obvious, names such as Rosie Huntington-Whitely (Transformers: Dark of the Moon), Julianne Hough (Footloose), Megan Fox (the first two Transformers films), Tyrese Gibson (more Transformers) and Katie Featherston (Paranormal Activity). Beyond that it’s just bunch of non-Transformers people such as David Lynch, Jack Nicholson, Steven Spielberg (oh wait, he produced Transformers), Meryl Streep, Martin Scorsese, Eva Marie Saint, George Clooney, Sean Penn, Natalie Portman, Tom Cruise, David Fincher, Brad Pitt, Julianne Moore, the Fanning sisters, oh, yeah, and Justin Bieber.
It’s too bad there wasn’t at least a nod to Michael Bay with one more set of stairs blown to pieces or something like that, but hey, they couldn’t fit the entire cast and crew from the Transformers in there. They did fit Shia LaBeouf in there, but a line must be drawn!
Who “should” be included in the pic I’m not really interested in, but what is actually more fun are the faces. Most are smiling, presumably happy to be included. Bieber is acting as if he’s on a jungle gym and Huntington-Whitely is just hoping no one realizes the mistake that has taken place, but the absolute cream of the crop is Robert De Niro. I’m not sure it’s possible to look any less interested. From the facial expression to his posture, everything about it screams, “When the hell can I get out of here?”
Look at him. What’s up Bobby D? Why so glum?
There are a few other gems, which I’ve included below. I love Morgan Freeman’s icy stare and Simon Pegg looks like he either ate something bad or sat on something extremely uncomfortable.
