Sixth ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Spot Arrives as Tickets Go On Sale Next Week

Tickets are about to go on sale for The Dark Knight Rises on June 11 and I’m beginning to wonder how big will The Dark Knight Rises be? Well, technically Christopher Nolan has an opinion.

I think this is the biggest [movie] I’ve done,” Nolan told Empire (via The Playlist). “The biggest one anyone’s done since the silent era, in technical terms … It’s not what you’re used to seeing. I don’t know when someone last did a film with 11,000 extras in a real environment. It is an escalation.”

Well, now that is interesting.

With the coming of the June 11 ticket availability and word AMC Theaters will be playing Batman Begins and The Dark Knight in succession leading up to the July 20 midnight premiere of The Dark Knight Rises (more on that here), Warner Bros. has released a sixth TV spot for the film, which I have chosen to follow-up with a look at the first trailer for the film as told using hot dogs (natch).
