A sixth clip has arrived online promoting The Avengers and this time Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) decide to battle it out in the woods with thunderbolts and high flying theatrics.
At this point this film has reached full-on market saturation and I can only begin to wonder what kind of response the fans are going to have. Correct me if I’m wrong, but did previous installments hold their premiere this far in advance of the domestic release date and have this many reactions coming in before audiences had a chance to see it?
With so many gushing on the film already it makes me think it is in prime position for a backlash of “it wasn’t as great as everyone said” kind of comments. I hope I’m wrong, but that tends to be the nature of the beast. At this point I don’t think that May 4 release date can get here soon enough.
