This was created by Evan Seitz who last animated the ABCs of Cinema which you can watch right here. This time he tackles the metric system offering up “123Films” featuring 13 pieces of cinema represented by a short animation and sound bite.
It’s far easier than the ABCs edition, and I don’t really why the choice for number two considering the title isn’t strictly a two. Kill Bill: Volume Two or Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers probably would have worked a bit better. And you could argue the imagery for number seven doesn’t exactly fit with the conclusion of the film, but visually I understand what he was going for. Otherwise it’s a fun little video.
